The Alpha “+” Project

Join in God’s Global Mission

The Alpha “+” Project (also known as a Cross Cultural Project) is designed to help today’s Christian college student become tomorrow’s global Christian. Following the 3-week Alpha Project in May, Alpha “+” gives students an opportunity to put their training into action by serving alongside an established Campus Outreach team in an international context.

Students will partner with indigenous staff and student leaders as they seek to share the Gospel and make disciples. The hope is that these students would gain confidence for a lifetime of evangelism and discipleship, a vision to faithfully serve the Lord wherever they are, and a growing heart for the nations to glorify God, all while strengthening an established disciple-making team that is positioned for ongoing, longer-term impact.

Campus Outreach South Africa

Students will spend 4-5 weeks in South Africa with the goal of serving and encouraging the long-term Campus Outreach South Africa team that was established in 2003. Students on the Alph “+” will develop a personal ministry on campus, host events, and build friendships with South Africa students for the sake of sharing the Gospel with them.

Students will also participate in various trainings led by both American and South African staff, discipleship/accountability groups, and community service.

Students will grow deeper in the gospel, gain ministry and leadership skills, learn to labor with a team, and develop a global vision for Gospel ministry. It’s a great opportunity to see God work in, through, and beyond you!
